Arfen° Arbridge Series Elastomeric expansion Joints are designed to accommodate structure movements from  ±20 to 135mm. The Elastomeric joints are manufactured using a vulcanising process and reinforced using steel plates ( EN10025 norm). The Modules are fixed to either side of the structure ( spanning the construction gap) using mechanical / resin-bound fixings. The elastomeric material uses the flexibility of the elastomeric rubber to accommodate the movement making this a smooth transition and also assists in noise reduction of vehicular traffic. Each Model is linked together with a tongue and groove type arrangement at each end being male and female to create a watertight connection between each module.
